Fundraising efforts of Springwood High School

We are having a school focus on fundraising during lockdown.  This will particularly be centred around exercise and keeping physically and mentally healthy at this time.

Lockdown Fundraising Competition

We are having a school focus on fundraising during lockdown.  This will particularly be centred around exercise and keeping physically and mentally healthy at this time.

Each Year group has been busy reaching out to their students to choose which charity they would like to raise money for, along with encouraging everyone to get up and active.

Each Year group now has a Just Giving page set up and details can be found on our website.  https://www.springwoodhighschool.co.uk/page/?title=Year+Groups&pid=252

Please encourage your child to get involved.  We are really keen to see photos and stories of what everyone is getting up to.  We know how competitive our Heads of Year are and look forward to seeing which Year group raises the highest total for their charity.

NSPCC Christmas Jumper Day

On the last day of term, we invited students to wear a Christmas jumper in place of their school blazer for a donation to the NSPCC.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised a total of £628.34.  This is the most we have ever raised through Christmas Jumper Day so we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part.

Easy Fundraising

Finally, in the current climate where more of us are buying online much more than we used to, we would like to remind you of how you can raise money for the school without it costing you anything.

If you through Easyfundraising for your online purchases, it costs you nothing but the school will receive a percentage of your purchase as a donation.  Click on the link below and have a look.
