Onatti Productions visited SHS on Thursday 3rd December to entertain both KS3 , 4 and 5 students with their French play, " Les Garcons." Two French actors played 4 different roles and entertained us with slap stick comedy and lots of jokes. They even invited some of our students on stage to join in the action.

On Wednesday 2nd December we held a careers fair for all pupils from Year 10 up with a variety of representing businesses.
On Thursday 17th December James Veck Gioldi (Deaf Havana) will be performing with our very own supporting stars - India Rose Barlow and Adam Tucker.
Our Year 11 Vocational Music students have been doing performances as a part of their external assessment performance. This took place early November.

We are pleased to announce the first appointments of students at Springwood High School to the posts of Head Boy and Head Girl. All students were invited to write a letter of application if they wished to apply for the posts.

YEAR 9 ACHIEVEMENT ASSEMBLY- VISIT FROM JEFF RICH
Former Status Quo drummer, Jeff Rich, visited Springwood High School and spent the morning delivering a masterclass into drumming to our year 9 students.

On Friday 20th November our KS3 students were given the opportunity to learn more about Cyber Bullying with Sam Callahan.
Our Year 11 Presentation Eve was a huge success. A fantastic night, well done to all involved.
Year 7 and 8 - Don't miss out!!! The trip will take place from Friday 8th to Monday 11th July 2016. Manor Adventure School Tours will be the tour operators. During the trip, the children will take part in excursions, language activities, sports events, evening entertainment and a day visit to Paris.

Today saw our students and staff come together for a Remembrance Ceremony. Joining our Year 7 History students were the King's Lynn Royal British Legion, student cadets.
A huge thank you on behalf of the school goes out to all of the transition leaders that have worked tirelessly over the last two terms to ensure that the new Y7 settled into high school life as quickly as possible.
On Wednesday 21st October the Sixth Form Social Committee have been getting into the Great British 'Bake Off' spirit.
