Well done to all the students that participated in the Design a 1950's style Prom Dress Fashion competition! Fashion Teacher Miss Markwell was amazed at how many students from all year groups entered.
A selection of Springwood students from Years 8, 9 and 12 represented the school in a Technology tournament. The competition was organised by the King’s Lynn Rotary Club and the event was held at King’s Lynn Academy.
17 students from Springwood Sixth Form this week have received outstanding results for their Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
The Alternative Ambitions students at the Sixth Form visited the Norfolk Skills and Careers Festival at the Norfolk Showground on 9th March.
On Friday 18th March staff are taking up the challange of play against the West Norfolk 3rds for Sport Relief at Gatehouse Lane Rugby Club. Come along and support us!!!
Miss Markwell has created her very first You Tube channel which uses videos to teach how to cook and sew.
As part of the new reformed GCSE course the History Department is planning another successful trip this year for Year 9 History students to visit the First World War battlefields around Ypres in Belgium and the Somme in France.

On Friday 12th February 2016 we had our first Super Learning day of the year where our students took part in various activities throughout the day, from Math Challenges, Driving Lessons and Career opportunities.
