On Saturday 21st April, three of our year 7 students travelled down to Chelmsford to compete in the third round of the Youth Speaks Rotary Club competition. This was the regional final and nerves were very present.
The Design and Technology department ran another successful Sustainable Manufacturing Awareness Day for the Year 7 cohort at Springwood High School.
This was held on 3rd february 2018 at the College of West Anglia.
Lauren, a girlguide and student of Springwood High School took part in SOAR 2017 which was held in associatin with Girl Guiding Canada.
Former Springwood Sixth Former Leah Bowman met the Queen at Sandringham House. Leah, who studied Art, Photography and Fashion, was awarded the Queen's prize as she scored top grades in all 3 of her A Levels - a feat matched by no other student in her cohort.

On the 28th November 2017 myself (Mackenzie Whitehouse-Baker), Harry Davidson and Finley Meehan took part in The Rotary Youths Speaks Competition 2017, which this year was hosted at KES.
Springwood students were amazing last week at the Rotary Club Tournament held at King's Lynn Academy.
