Admissions Appeal
If you have applied for a place at Springwood High School, and your application has been refused, you are able to appeal the decision.
In the first instance, please contact the school directly, either by telephone (01553 773393) or email (office@springwoodhighschool.co.uk). This should be done within 20 school days of receiving the initial decision. The school will provide you with an appeals pack, along with a deadline in which to return this to the school.
You will then be given at least 10 school days’ notice of the hearing.
On the day, an appeals panel, who are totally independent of the school, will hear both the school’s case for refusal and your appeal, and will make the decision on whether to uphold the appeal or not. The decision is binding on all parties.
