We fully believe in the concept that the more you put into something the more you will get out, and we want all of our students to get involved in everything Springwood has to offer.

We embedded this expectation into our Personal Development programmes that every student participates in.

Duke of Edinburgh

Every Springwood student has the opportunity to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. All year 9 students are entered for their Bronze Award. From there they are strongly encouraged to continue onto higher awards. 

We want our students to take the lead wherever possible, and we gain an enormous sense of pride watching them grow into these roles and change their part of the world for the better.
