Each subject area has its own dedicated page, which can be accessed via the links below. On these pages you will find both the compulsory summer tasks and optional extension tasks for your chosen subjects.

Summer tasks are important because they provide you with an insight into the subject you have chosen – if you don’t enjoy the task, it could be that you’ve chosen badly! They are also the first piece of work that your teachers will assess, so make sure that it is your best work.

Remember that summer tasks are compulsory: you must complete the summer task for each of the subjects you have chosen, and the work must be handed to your teachers in your first lesson.

However, it is also a good idea to get a head start by engaging with the optional extension tasks set by departments.
