Task 1:

Evaluate the production techniques used in each version of the song. Your response may consider the following production aspects:

• Capture, production approach and music style
• Synthesis, sequencing and sampling
• EQ and filtering
• Dynamic Processing
• Pan and stereo field
• Effects

Task 2:

Write a short paragraph outlining your understanding of the following processes:

• Reverb
• Compression
• Filtering/EQ

Task 3:

Describe how you would record an acoustic guitar. Give reference to:

• microphone choice
• microphone placement
• cables required
• recording equipment

Produce a track using a DAW of any style or genre.
