COMPULSORY TASK:

Task 1:

Students should complete the grammar sheets (click here) and the literary texts booklet (texts 3 and 4) (click here) for Mrs Bliss.

Task 2:

General research on Immigration in France across the ages to the present day, noting the contributions of famous people. Link (click here) to help.

Task 3:

Students should be working and researching their Independent Research project. At this stage, they should not have a title yet but a general idea of what their IRP should be about. This will have been discussed and agreed before the summer holidays. Use the booklet/ folder given to you by Mrs Bliss.

Task 4:

La Haine revision pages - Complete the activities from the La Haine revision pages (click here). There are 7 lessons with activities to revise the director’s use of techniques and the development of the main characters, so you should aim to complete at least one lesson per week during the holidays. Hand in to Mrs Hannah in September.

Task 5:

Reading Le Gone Du Chaâba - Read to the end of the novel and complete the remaining comprehension questions. Hand in to Mrs Hannah in September.

OPTIONAL EXTENSION:

Choose at least one essay title from the list below and write an essay of 300-350 words. Hand in to Mrs Hannah.
