Springwood High School Celebrate GCSE Success

Springwood High School are celebrating the best ever results under the new GCSE framework. 

Under the new GCSE Framework 66% of the students gained a pass (grade 4) in both English and Mathematics. This is an increase of 6% on last year!

Executive Headteacher Andy Johnson, said “This year our students have been exceptional. I am so pleased that they have gained such great grades.”

The results this year have been down to the hard work, determination and dedication by both students and staff.   This is shown by the results gained by our highest  performing students who are as follows;

Phoebe Claxton – 7 grade nines, 3 grade eights and 1 grade seven

Abi Simms – 5 grade nines, 5 grade eights and 1 grade seven

Joshua Ampomah – 4 grade nines, 6 grade eights and 1 grade seven

Miriam Massawi – 4 grade nines, 3 grade eights and 3 grade sevens

Amelia Spindler – 4 grade nines, 3 grade eights and 3 grade sevens

Ezra Nwobodo – 4 grade nines, 3 grade eights and 2 grade sevens

Myles Russell – 4 grade nines, 3 grade eights and 1 grade seven

Dong Ting Xu – 3 grade nines, 6 grade eights and 1 grade seven

Akram Ziane – 3 grade nines, 4 grade eights and 1 grade seven
