Year 9 GCSE Food Students visit Holkham Hall

Springwood Year 9 GCSE Food students visited Holkham Hall to learn about where our food comes from. 

They sampled local produce grown on the estate and had a cookery demonstration
from the Head Chef at the Victoria Hotel.

Students are studying food provenance and the environmental impact of growing and processing food so the trip allowed them to see the whole 'field to fork' process in action.
