On Friday 12th February 2016 we had our first Super Learning day of the year where our students took part in various activities throughout the day, from Math Challenges, Driving Lessons and Career opportunities.

our Year 7s were taught about Chaucer and produced a play about what they learnt.  Our Year 8s attended a careers fair to help them with their option choices.

Year 9 students had an exciting day of investigating where Maths was used in the real world. Students  had to use their detective skills to analyse blood stain patterns and fingerprints to solve a Springwood murder case. Many students cracked the case and even had suggestions on how to get away with it in future!

50 students also visited RAF Marham to explore 'Maths in Industry'

The day consisted of going to the Junior Ranks Mess and finding out about the financial factors of feeding over 2000 people a day. They also discussed the importance of this area when looking at troops that have been deployed.

Year 10 got stuck into their revision for their exams while Year 11 had a crash course in Driving Lessons and vehicle maintenance.
