    • History

      With more than a hundred years of history, Springwood provides an education for boys and girls aged between eleven and eighteen in King's Lynn. Springwood High School is a comprehensive school with Specialist Performing Arts Status and a long history of providing an excellent education to pupils in West Norfolk.

    • Our House System

      Springwood is a large school.  To ensure that every student is known, challenged and supported to do their very best we have five distinct houses; Sandringham, Felbrigg, Holkham, Oxburgh and Blickling which are located in distinct areas of the school.

       

    • High Expectation

      We have a high expectation of both our teachers and our students. We set challenging targets for all and support each other to achieve them. We work hard to monitor accurately the progress of students, celebrate academic success and intervene where necessary.

       

    • Opportunities

      We offer a wide range of opportunities, both within and beyond the classroom - it is vital that every student participates in other areas of school life. Springwood expects every student to take part in other aspects of our offer to them such as  Competitive Sport,  Dance Performances, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Lunchtime clubs, Numerous foreign visits and exchanges, and many more!
