GCSE Y9 History Trip to Ypres

As part of the new reformed GCSE course the History Department is planning another successful trip this year for Year 9 History students to visit the First World War battlefields around Ypres in Belgium and the Somme in France.

As part of the new reformed GCSE course the History Department is planning another successful trip this year for Y9 History Students to visit the First World War battlefields around Ypres in Belgium and the Somme in France.

This is a voluntary study trip to enhance the classwork that your child will be studying at end of Year 9.

The trip will take place on the 7th and 8th July 2016. The students will spend one night at a hotel in Ypres.  Places are limited to 88 and so will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
